Coming Thursday, October 24th, the performance of “A Harlot’s Progress” will be streamed live and free of charge on the website of Theater an der Wien, www.theater-wien.at, starting at 7 pm.

Finnish conductor Mikko Franck will lead the Wiener Symphoniker and the Arnold Schoenberg Choir.
Jens-Daniel Herzog’s production convinces with strong imagery. Diana Damrau creates the tragic part of naïve Moll, who succumbs to the charms of thief James, performed by baritone Nathan Gunn. Scottish soprano Marie McLaughlin sings the procuress.
