Light design

The native New York light designer created the lighting for more than 100 productions in her long international career. She worked inter alii for the Glyndebourne Festival, the Los Angeles Opera, the Washington Opera, the Houston Grand Opera, the English National Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. For the Broadway-Production of Rappaports I’m not Rappaport she won a Tony Award, a price she was nominated for two times before as well as a Drama Desk Award for her light design for E. Manns Execution of Justice. At the West-End she created the light design amongst others for Soundheims Into the Woods and Wagners Der Ring des Nibelungen at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. At Bayerische Staatsoper she designed the light for productions as Handels Rinaldo and Rodelinda , Cavallis La Calisto and Donizettis L’elisir d’amore at Santa Fe Opera. At Theater an der Wien she created the light for Glucks Orfeo ed Euridice at last.
