The Bass-Baritone studied with Donald Litaker in Karlsruhe and made his stage debut 2005 in Lyon under William Christie in Monteverdis L'incoronazione di Poppea.
He furthermore sang in Handels Rodelinda with Il Complesso Barocco, Orlando in Zurich, Brittens Midsummernight's Dream and Curlew River in Lyon, Monteverdis L'Orfeo and Mozarts Die Zauberflöte in Aix-en-Provence, Cavallis La Calisto, Merniers Frühlings Erwachen in Brussels and Handels Giulio Cesare in Göttingen.
His repertoire in concert includes the oratorios of Handel and Bach, Haydns Die Schöpfung, Beethovens 9. Sinfonie, Mendelssohns Paulus as well as the Requiems of Mozart, Dvorak und Fauré. He performed with conductors such as Jacobs, Abbado, Rattle, Boreyko, Minkowsi, McGegan, Chailly und Koopman. 2008 his first recital named Victor Hugo en musique, together with pianist Trung got released on CD. He makes his debut as Obrazzano at Theater an der Wien.
