Trine Wilsberg LundThe native Norwegian studied singing with Barbro Marklund and Håkan Hagegård until 2003 as well as furthermore until 2008 at Cologne with Barbara Schlick. From 2007 to 2009 she was member of the International Opera Studio of Hamburgische Staatsoper, where she sang roles such as Papagena (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte), Gretel (Humperdinck: Hänsel und Gretel), Soeur Constance (Poulenc: Dialogues des Carmelites), Frasquita (Carmen) and Giunone (Cavalli: La Calisto). In 2010 she will sing Antoinette (Urauführung von Strasnoy: Le Ball) there.
The young soprano is very sucessful even in concert in a repertoire from early baroque until contemporary music. She has performed for example at Oslo Church Music Festival, Wiesbaden Bach Festival with orchestras such as Gewandhausorchester, Kölner Collegium Cartusianum and Oslo Symphony - Orchestra amongst others under Simone Young, Alessandro De Marchi and Morten Schuldt-Jensen.
