For Bayerische Staatsoper, Christopher Moulds has conducted Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse, Cavalli’s La Calisto, Handel’s Alcina, Orlando and Ariodante, at Salzburger Festspiele performances of Mozarts La Clemenza di Tito with Wiener Philharmoniker and Samson at the Netherlandse Opera with Concerto Köln and Hercules.
He furthermore has conducted Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Tosca and Verdi’s Aida at the Royal Albert Hall, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and at English National Opera, Opera North, Oper Köln, Komische Oper and Staatsoper Berlin as well as at Festivals at Bregenz and Halle. He has worked with London Philharmonic Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg and Wiener Symphoniker. His recordings include Gluck’s L’innocenza Giustificata. This season he will conduct Don Giovanni at Opéra de Lyon and Die Zauberflöte at Bolshoi Theatre.
