The soprano was born in Lissabon and studied at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst at Vienna with Helena Lazarska and Edith Mathis. She performed in concert for example at Wiener Konzerthaus, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Konzerthaus Berlin and at Alte Oper Frankfurt. In Opera and Operetta she has sung for example at Volksoper Wien, Wiener Kammeroper, Bregenzer Festspiele and at Schönbrunner Schloßtheater, all over Europe and regularely with Florilegium Musicum. Her wide repertoire includes roles such as Drusilla (Monteverdi: L’incoronazione di Poppea), Vespina (Haydn: L’infedeltà delusa), Fiordiligi (Mozart: Così fan tutte), Rosina (Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia), Adele (Strauß: Die Fledermaus), Gilda (Verdi: Rigoletto), Mimì (Puccini: La bohème), Lucia (Donizetti: Lucia di Lammermoor) as well as Göttin in the world premiere of Côrte-Real’s Der Berg.
