Der Prinz von Homburg
The Bass-baritone is since his diploma at Musikhochschule Graz and his debut 1990 at Oper Graz a successful interpreter mostly of contempory musical theatre and operetta. He lives and works particularly in Vienna (Volksoper, Kammeroper, Neue Oper and others ), numerous Appearances have brought him all over Europe, North- and South - Amerika as well as Japan. His repertoire includes more than 60 roles, amongst others Kaspar (Weber: Der Freischütz), Kurwenal (Wagner: Tristan und Isolde), Berg’s Wozzeck and Birtwistle’s Punch and Judy in Graz as well as in Hamburg, Ollendorf (Millöcker: Der Bettelstudent) and the Strauß’ roles Zsupán (Der Zigeunerbaron) at Leharfestival Bad Ischl as well as Frank (Die Fledermaus) at Teatro Municipal, Santiago de Chile and New National Theater Tokio. He performed in many world premieres, amonst others as manager (Lang: I Hate Mozart) at Theater an der Wien 2006.
