Junges Ensemble des Theater an der Wien

Out of 300 applicants, seven skilled young soloists were chosen. They went through intensive training, have already worked in opera studios and ensembles, and will now make Wiener Kammeroper their new home. The Young Ensemble will present itself for the first time with the Opening Concert on October 8th, 2012.

Rupert EnticknapDer Countertenor studierte am Royal College of Music als Scholar, war Preisträger des Gesangswettbewerbs für Barock-oper Pietro Antonio Cesti und sang u.a. in Rodelinda und Riccardo Primo beim London Handel Festival unter Laurence Cummings sowie in Purcells Dido and Aeneas am Concertgebouw. Er trat bei den Resonanzen 2012 auf, wird Ottone (Monteverdi: L’incoronazione di Poppea) in Innsbruck und in Richters Sum am Limbury Theatre (Royal Opera House Covent Garden) singen.
