Attila Jun

Attila Jun made his diploma at Seoul National University at Philip Kang, studied in Köln with Hans Sotin and made his debut with Sarastro (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte) in Seoul. Since 1999 he sings in Stuttgart, where he amongst others has appeared as Eremit (Weber: Der Freischütz), König Marke (Wagner: Tristan und Isolde), Hunding and Fafner (Der Ring des Nibelungen), Daland (Der fliegende Holländer), Heinrich der Vogler (Lohengrin), Ramfis (Verdi: Aïda) and Großinquisitor (Don Carlo). In guest performances he sang Hunding amongst others under Giuseppe Sinopoli in Rome, Toulouse and Wels, where he also sang Fafner, in Bayreuth as Nachtwächter (Wagner: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg) and in San Francisco as Timur (Puccini: Turandot). Upcoming performances include amongst others König Marke (Tristan und Isolde) at Gran Teatro del Liceu under Sebastian Weigle. At Theater an der Wien he sang at last 2006 Il Commendatore under Bertrand de Billy.
