Donna Elvira
The soprano is one of the leading singers of Mozart and baropue music.
Since her Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) 1998 in Aix-en-Provence, which she also sang at Glyndebourne, she worked amongst others with Bolton, Abbado and Minkowski. She sang amongst others in Mozarts La clemenza di Tito in Dresden, Così fan tutte in Tokio, La finta giardiniera in Salzburg, Debussys Pelléas et Mélisande in Berlin. She has recorded more than 70 awarded recordings, for example Berlioz’ Les nuits d’été as well as Mozarts Le nozze di Figaro and Così fan tutte, Monteverdis L’Orfeo, Scarlattis Santissima Trinità, Purcells King Arthur and Tragédiennes. Last she performend amongst others in Cavallis La Calisto. Future-plans include amongst others Alice Ford (Verdi: Falstaff) in Baden-Baden, Eva (Wagner: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg) in Barcelona, Glucks Alceste in Aix-en-Provence and Iphigénie en Aulide in Bruxelles as well as at Theater an der Wien.
