After his studies at the Royal Academy of Music the British singer performed internationally including Figaro (Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia) at New York City Opera, Silvio (Leoncavallo: I pagliacci) at Welsh National Opera, Britten’s Death in Venice at Barcelona, Marcello (Puccini: La bohème) at Opera Zuid, Sid (Britten: Albert Herring) at Paris, Ned Keene (Peter Grimes), Conte d’Almaviva (Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro) at the English National Opera, Carter’s On Conversing with Paradise in Aldeburgh, Dove’s Man on the Moon for Channel 4, Maxwell-Davies' The Martyrdom of St Magnus at the St Magnus Festival, Adam’s The Death of Klinghoffer in the Channel 4 film, Berlioz’ Les Troyens under Colin Davies and Xenakis’ Aïs at the BBC Proms & Berlin Festival. His future plans include Ned Keene at Vlaamse Opera, Papageno in Seattle and Maxwell-Davies’ Eight Songs of a Mad King in Madrid.
