The wide-ranged Repertoire of the Samoan, who was born in New Zealand, reaches from Handel’s Saul, Leporello (Mozart: Don Giovanni), Rocco (Beethoven: Fidelio), Basilio (Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia), Colline (Puccini: La Bohème), Porgy (Gershwin: Porgy and Bess), Bottom (Britten: A Midsummer Night’s Dream) to Bartók’s Herzog Blaubarts Burg to name a few. He has performed for example at Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Opera Australia, Metropolitan Opera, in Lyon, at styriarte, in Dallas, Chicago, Munich and Hamburg as well as at Festivals such as in Glyndebourne, Salzburg and Edinburgh. In concert he has performed inter alii with the Berlin and New York Philharmonic Orchestra as well as Symphony Orchestras in New Zealand, London, Paris and Tokyo with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Daniel Harding, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Charles Mackerras, Zubin Mehta, Roger Norrington, Antonio Pappano and Simon Rattle. At Theater an der Wien he sang for example Papageno (Mozart: Die Zauberflöte).
