The Styrian Baritone is member of the ensemble of Semperoper Dresden and performs there this season for example Marcello (Puccini: La Bohème), Wolfram (Wagner: Tannhäuser) and Valentin (Gounod: Faust), with Berliner Philharmonikern under Herbert Blomstedt and Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s Christus with Accentus under Laurence Equilbey. In 2009/10 he made his debut at New National Theatre Tokyo as well as with Staatskapelle Dresden under Daniel Harding, with Orchéstre de Paris with Paavo Järvi and with WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln under Semyon Bychkov. He has appeared for example at Staatsoper Berlin, Salzburger Festspiele, Teatro alla Scala as well as in Naples, Bologna, Florence, Sevilla and Paris with conductors such as Bruno Bartoletti, Bertrand de Billy, Christoph Eschenbach, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Fabio Luisi, Zubin Mehta, Kirill Petrenko, Helmuth Rilling, Stefan Soltesz and Sebastian Weigle. At Theater an der Wien he sang at last Frank (Strauss: Die Fledermaus).
