Anja Nina Bahrmann The sporano was awardee of Jütting - foundation and completed her singing studies in 2006 at Düsseldorf with Jeanne Piland. She was awarded at many competitions and decorated by Brigitte Fassbaender with the Richard Strauss Plakette. Already during her studies she made her debuts at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and at Essen. Until 2009 she was member of the ensemble at Landestheater Linz, where she sang roles such as Zerbinetta (Strauss: Ariadne auf Naxos), Susanna (Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro) and Oscar (Verdi: Un ballo in maschera). Since fall 2009 she is member of the ensemble of Volksoper Wien, where she sings fof example roles such as Rosina (Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Adele (Strauß: Die Fledermaus). Her future plans include amongst others in 2010 her debut at Tokyo as Sophie (Strauss: Der Rosenkavalier) and 2011 in Glyndebourne as well as appearances at Theater an der Wien, where she sang at last Flaminia (Haydn: Il Mondo della luna) under Harnoncourt.
