Director
After her studies of literature and art history at École Normale Supérieure the native French lived in the U.S.A. and in Berlin. She worked as an assistant director at many Opera Houses in Europe. She won the third price in 2003 at the European Contest for Opera directors in Wiesbaden and made her debut as a director in 2004 with Rossini’s Il Signor Bruschino and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi in Lausanne. She directed Verdi’s La Traviata and La Bohème in Bern, Rebel & Francœur’s Pirame et Thisbé in Nantes, Le Comte Ory in Athens, Rigoletto in Nancy, Il Viaggio à Reims and Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Bern, Oviedo and Tel-Aviv, Offenbach’s La Belle Hélène, Massenet’s Werther and Rameau’s Platée in Strasbourg and Cavalli’s Giasone in Antwerp/Gent. Her future plans include for example Gounod’s Faust in Graz, Donizetti’s Don Pasquale in Glyndebourne and Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier in Strasbourg.
