The Swiss Mezzo Soprano was born in Fribourg, where she studied and made her stage debut as Offenbach’s La Périchole. In 2000/2001 she joined the Opera studio in Antwerp. Until 2005 she performed in Osnabrück for example Mozart’s Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro), Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Orlowsky (Strauss: Die Fledermaus), Oktavian (Strauss: Der Rosenkavalier) and Babette (Henze: Die englische Katze). She furthermore appeared as a guest in Antwerp (Prokofiew: Lamoure des trios oranges), Wexford (Humperdinck: Hänsel und Gretel) and St. Gallen as La Cenerentola, in Graz (Nicklausse in Offenbach’s Les Contes d'Hoffmann) and Lausanne (Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte).Since 2006 she sang at Wiener Staatsoper for beside many others Stéphano (Gounod: Roméo et Juliette) as well as at the moment in Lissabon Sesto (La Clemenza di Tito). From 2011/12 she will be member of the ensemble of Staatsoper Stuttgart and sing in 2011 the prince (Massenet’s Cendrillon) in Bruxelles.
