Born in Ragusa, Italy the tenor lirico leggero studied in Bologna and made his stage debut there in 2006 singing in Mancinellis opera Paolo e Francesca. He has performed as Ferrando (Mozart: Così fan tutte) at the theatre of ASLICO, in Trieste and Milano. In 2010 he sang Arbace (Idomeneo) in a production of Michele Mariotti in Bologna, in Reggio Emilia, Modena, Ferrara and Ravenna. The same year he made his debut in Rossini's l’Italiana in Algeri in Firenze under Enrique Mazzola as well as in 2008 and 2009 in Como. In 2009 he sang Almaviva (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) in Rouen and Jesi as well as Libenskof (Il Viaggio a Reims) in Pesaro and Tempo (Händel: Il Trionfo del tempo e del disinganno) in Ireland.
In 2010 he performed as Almaviva at Maggio Fiorentino Estate and Radoski (Sigismondo) at the Rossini-Festival in Pesaro. This season he will sing Mambre (Mosè in Egitto) as well as in Bologna as Don Ramiro (Cenerentola).
