Gregorio González recently sang at the world premiere of Il Postino at Los Angeles Opera where he has also created roles in other world premieres and performed in over a dozen productions including the 20th Anniversary Gala Concert celebrated with Plácido Domingo and Friends. He has sung in Europe at Amsterdam’s Concert Gebouw, and at De Nederlandse Opera. In the American continent he’s sung for Virginia Opera, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Connecticut Opera, San Diego Opera, at Opera de Panamá to celebrate the One Hundred Anniversary of the Teatro Nacional, and at the Ojai International Festival as The King in Orff’s Die Kluge under the direction of Kent Nagano. He has been awarded 1st place prizes at the Gerda Lissner, Violetta Dupont, and Palm Springs Competitions and other top prizes from The Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation and The Loren L. Zachary Society. He made his debut at Theater an der Wien in 2008 in Luisa Fernanda.
