Mari EriksmoenThe young norwegian Soprano studied at the norwegian academy for music and at the opera akademy in Copenhagen. In 2007 she was in the finale of the Queen Sonja International Competition and in 2008 at Hans Gabor Belvedere Wettbewerb (Operetta). She made her stage debut aged 23 at the Norwegian National Opera house as Adele (Strauss: Die Fledermaus) and as Susanna (Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro). Since then she has performed roles such as Sandrina (Haydn: L’infedelta delusa) at Opéra de Lille and at Luxembourg, Sœur Constance (Poulenc: Dialogues des Carmélites), Frasquita (Bizet: Carmen), Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) and Angel (Handel: Jeptha) at the Royal Opera House in Copenhagen, Mallika in the world premiere of Kverndokk’s Around the world in 80 days at the Norwegian National Opera, Musetta (Puccini: La bohème) at Oslo and Adele (Die Fledermaus) with Odense Symphonyorchestra. The young Soprano makes her debut at Theater an der Wien and in Austria with singing Zerbinetta.
