The Swedish singer studied in Stockholm and London and made her debut in 2000 as Krista in Janacek’s Markopoulos Case at La Monnaie in Brussels. The current season has included the title role of Rossini’s La Cenerentola in Helsinki and will bring to Milano for her Teatro alla Scala debut as Cherubin in Le nozze di Figaro in the spring of 2012. Notable engagements during her career have included Siebel (Gounod: Faust) at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Cherubin in Salzburg, Stockholm, Oslo and Luxemburg, Lucretia (Britten: The Rape of Lucretia) in Oslo, Lichas (Händel: Hercules) with Les Arts Florissants in London and New York, Varvara (Janacek: Katya Kababova) in Glasgow and Göteborg as well as Annio (Mozart: La clemenza di Tito) at the Edinburgh Festival. Ms. Dragojevic has appeared under the batons of conductors such as William Christie, Daniel Haring, Thomas Hengelbrook and Robin Ticciati.
