Last Friday, the final of the prestigious Queen Sonja Competition took place in Oslo, attended by the Queen of Norway. We are particularly delighted for soprano Hannah Edmunds, who won the audience prize at our graduate audition in January 2025 and has now received the prize for best Norwegian performer in Norway.  

Two other talents are also in the international spotlight: our soprano Inna Demenkova (who can be seen in L'occasione fa il ladro at the Kammeroper from September, further information can be found here) and bass-baritone Alexander Grassauer (who appeared in Der Prozess last season) have been selected for the OPERALIA competition in October!  

We are proud to accompany so many great young artists on their journey and congratulate them warmly on these successes!
