Under the stage direction of Anna Bernreitner and the musical leadership of Irene Delgado-Jiménez, the team is working on two rarely performed one-act operas by Mieczysław Weinberg and Bohuslav Martinů, which explore the depths of marital jealousy with ironic twists, jazzy intermezzi, and sharply pointed humor.

The production is being created as part of a CAMPUS cooperation with the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Wilma Kvamme) and once again brings students and professionals together on stage.

The premiere on June 2 marks the last new production to be realized at the Kammeroper for the time being.
