Master class with Aleksey Igudesman

From 22 to 24 February, our open master classes went into the second round. Aleksey Igudesman worked together with students on a very special and different opera evening at the Kammeroper.

Vienna premiere: "Der goldene Drache"

On 14 February, Peter Eötvös' Der goldene Drache celebrated its Vienna premiere at the Kammeroper in the presence of the composer. Much cheering and applause for the entire ensemble!

Under the motto "Learning from masters of their craft", regular open master classes are an integral part of our CAMPUS project. The first master class took place on 22 January at the Kammeroper.

Audition on January 17 & 18 in the Ehrbarsaal

38 singers were able to demonstrate their skills at an audition on 17/18 January 2023 in the Ehrbarsaal. They were selected from 88 applicants from CAMPUS partner universities.

Graduate auditions in December

50 participants from 16 European institutions will be able to present themselves in front of representatives of internationally renowned opera houses and established artist agencies.

Second premiere at the Kammeroper

On 3 December, the second premiere of the season took place at the Kammeroper: L'arbore di Diana by Vicente Martín y Solers. This opera evening was again part of our campus project!

First glimpse at Igudesman's #masterclass

In a very short time, Aleksey Igudesman will create an opera evening together with students from a wide range of disciplines at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien.

Great success for the first CAMPUS project

The first premiere of this season took place yesterday in the second venue of the MusikTheater an der Wien. La liberazione became an acclaimed evening in the Kammeroper.

50 candidates from 14 institutions applied for the four operas that will be on the program of the Kammeroper in the 22/23 season.
