Personal highlight of the 2023/24 season: Of course, I'm mostly looking forward to our "finta giardiniera", but then Denis & Katya by Philip Venables definitely comes in second place. This year, I will also be taking part in a piece by Venables at the August Everding Theater Academy and I am very enthusiastic about this composer.

CAMPUS means to me: artistic and musical exchange between great colleagues.

Dream role: Susanna in „Le nozze di Figaro“, Violetta in „La Traviata“, Sophie in „Der Rosenkavalier“… There are simply too many.

A big role on a small stage or a small role on a big stage: both are wonderful, especially if the team is right!

Musical role model: I'm afraid I can't say for sure. There are too many fantastic performers in instrumental and vocal music and then there are the people to whom we owe this music.

Personal highlight of the 2023/24 season: For me personally, the new season is a great opportunity at the Theater an der Wien to enjoy not only famous works, but also previously unknown works by old and new composers.

CAMPUS means to me: an opportunity to gain valuable artistic experience in order to improve my professional side.

Dream role: Wolfram von Eschenbach and Eugene Onegin

CAMPUS means to me: It's a wonderful opportunity to learn from fantastic colleagues!

Dream role: Alcina. I love playing villains. As a soprano, you don't get to do that very often. Alcina is a fascinating character because she does terrible things, but her music is so beautiful and heartfelt that the audience has to empathize with her. (I also love Handel's music).

A big role on a small stage or a small role on a big stage: The last role I sang was the First Lady in "Die Zauberflöte" at the Bad Hall Municipal Theater. Just before that, I sang Cabri and Carmi in Mozart's "Betulia Liberata" with the Berlin Oratorio Troupe. Cabri/Carmi, First Lady, Arminda: that's three Mozart "baddies" in a row. I think I've found my "typecast"!

Musical role model: The singer I admire most is Lorraine Hunt Lieberson. The recording of her performance as Irene in Theodora at Glyndebourne in 1996 blew me away and redefined for me what opera could be. Her Bach cantata recordings are the most beautiful and heartbreaking music I have ever heard. My other great role model as an actress is probably my sister Emily. She is a born drama queen. I often performed in musicals with her as a child and learned a lot. I still ask her for advice about acting.
