HOLLE! CELEBRATES ITS PREMIERE
In keeping with the weather, Frau Holle has also shaken out her cushions at the Theater an der Wien, causing all sorts of confusion and chaos. Despite the help of Gold-Andy and Pech-Andy, the various weather requests and her responsibility for the seasons and the climate are getting too much for her – so she goes on holiday. Now her two assistants have to take over the job of making the weather, which goes terribly wrong...
Holle! is the first children's opera about the climate crisis to be performed in Austria. The opera deals with the topic of climate change in a playful way and encourages reflection. A singer (Tatiana Kuryatnikova) and two musicians (Manuel Ernst, Alexander Gergelyfi) interpret Sebastian Schwab's imaginative composition, directed by Catharina von Bülow. Anna Kreinecker is responsible for the truly magical and sustainable set design.
Young and old alike were thrilled and applauded the performers and the leading team enthusiastically.
There are still a few tickets left for the remaining performances.
