For many schoolchildren and young people, a visit to the MusikTheater an der Wien is their first encounter with the exciting world of opera – a special experience that opens doors to art and culture.

 

To ensure that as many young people as possible have this opportunity, we need your support: not all young people can afford a ticket (even at a reduced price). With your donation – whether it's €1 or €10 – you can help give a child or young person the chance to attend the opera for free.

 

 

How your donation helps:

 
In addition to giving tickets directly to schoolchildren, we also give them to children who attend our performances together with the younus Mentoring association. This association focuses on mentoring, i.e. personal support from experienced individuals, to enable young people to have special and formative experiences. Younus brings children and young people (mentees) together with experienced mentors. Together as a tandem, they immerse themselves in the fascinating world of musical theatre. If the donations received exceed the number of student tickets required, the additional funds will be used for our cultural outreach work, thereby giving young people access to the theatre.

A student ticket can be funded for as little as 12 euros. Every single euro makes a big difference.
