Premiere of "La finta giardiniera"
Yesterday, an early work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart celebrated its premiere at the Kammeroper: La finta giardiniera.
RING AWARD winner Anika Rutkofsky staged the amorous entanglements with a squad of young singers. The La Folia Baroque Orchestra played under Clemens Flick.
The audience thanked everyone involved - Paul Schweinester (Don Anchise, Podestà), Carina Schmieger (Violante (Sandrina), Adrian Autard (Contino Belfiore), Michaella Cipriani* (Arminda), Valerie Eickhoff (Cavaliere Ramiro), Elisabeth Freyhoff* (Serpetta) and Anton Beliaev* (Roberto (Nardo)) - with hearty applause.
This production was once again part of the CAMPUS cooperation* with students from the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and the August Everding Theatre Academy in Munich.
La finta giardiniera can be seen at the Kammeroper until 22 December.
