Five single people meet in a bar on New Year’s Eve. They discuss love, faithfulness and unfaithfulness, what has been and what could be. They tell each other of their shattered dreams, of happiness that seemed within reach, of hopes they are not yet willing to give up. Glass by glass they grow closer. Couples get together, then separate again, unexpected constellations form; on this night, everyone is willing to take a chance. Especially when the irresistible music of Leo Fall and Oscar Straus is playing.
