TaWumm! at the summer festival
From autumn 2022, the Theater an der Wien will move to Hall E for two seasons and open the venue in the MuseumsQuartier with a diverse programme for families and schools.
The one-act opera Amahl und die nächtlichen Besucher by Gian Carlo Menotti will kick off the annual family opera in December 2022. At the summer festival in the MuseumsQuartier, adults and children could already get to know the songs from the opera: join in, sing and dance along at the workshop "TaWhoop - Sing & Swing" with singer Marie-Luise Schottleitner - shining children's eyes included! Another highlight was the popular children's make-up workshop "TaWow - Off to the Mask", which was also dedicated to Amahl and his world.
