We would like to point out that there is no elevator or wheelchair space in the Kammeroper.
Wheelchair tickets
MUSEUMSQUARTIER | Halle E
The MuseumsQuartier | Halle E has level access, four wheelchair spaces, an elevator to the wardrobe, a toilet suitable for the handicapped, and an inductive hearing system.
Please book wheelchair places (one accompanying person possible) ideally up to one week before the performance by telephone +43 1 58885-111 or in person at our box office in the MuseumsQuartier (Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sundays and public holidays on performance days 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.) so that we can prepare your stay with us. We are also happy to accommodate last-minute requests up to the day of the performance itself. For official reasons, persons in wheelchairs are only permitted to occupy the designated seats.
Price: EUR 10,- (wheelchair space) or 50% reduction for the accompanying person.
Visitors with an invalidity card receive a 50% discount at the MuseumsQuartier | Halle E up to one week before the respective performance exclusively at the box office upon presentation of the invalidity card.
KAMMEROPER
The Kammeroper does not have wheelchair spaces.
Hearing aids
The MuseumsQuartier | Halle E has an inductive hearing system, please note that reception is only possible in the predefined seating area: grandstand 2, rows 15-31.

Guide Dog
Guide dogs and partner dogs with identification, may be taken into the auditorium of the MuseumsQuartier | Halle E as well as the Kammeroper with a leash and muzzle. For this purpose, it is necessary to book a corner seat in the close area of the exit. To book an appropriate seat, please contact the advance booking offices of Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, the Wien-Ticket Pavillon at the Wiener Staatsoper or Wien-Ticket by telephone: +43 1 58885-111.
It is noted that it is at your own discretion to decide and assess whether a visit to the performance is possible for the dog without adverse health effects (volume, lighting effects, etc.) as well as without disturbing the stage show and the audience (especially by staying quietly in the square, etc.).
For the sake of good order, it is noted that in this context any liability on the part of VBW is fully and expressly excluded.
Parking
MUSEUMSQUARTIER | Halle E
The following parking facilities are available at the MuseumsQuartier | Halle E for persons with disabilities:
- 6 free parking spaces on the premises (access Burggasse/Volkstheater on presentation of a disabled person's ID card)
- 4 parking spaces in the parking garage (2nd basement near the elevator, access main entrance Museumsplatz)
KAMMEROPER
The Kammeroper has no parking facilities.
Crutches/ walking aids
MUSEUMSQUARTIER | Halle E
Crutches or similar walking aids may be taken into the auditorium and stowed in the close vicinity, e.g. under the seat.
It is recommended to book a barrier-free corner seat in the immediate vicinity of the exit.
