As a subscriber, you have already enjoyed many unforgettable evenings at Vienna's oldest and youngest opera house. After two and a half years of construction, the grand reopening of the Theater an der Wien was celebrated in autumn 2024. For the first time in the history of the theatre, it is now possible to sponsor a seat. Decorate your favourite seat with a plaque bearing your name and give it your own personal touch.
For € 250 you can become a seat sponsor for the duration of a season.
As a thank you for your seat sponsorship you will receive:
- a personalised name plaque on your seat for the duration of one season
- a certificate of sponsorship
- an invitation to an exclusive thank-you reception followed by a guided tour of the new Theater an der Wien

The symbolic sponsorship does not entitle you to a seat. The sponsorship is valid for the duration of one season and can be extended on request. All orders received by VBW by 1 August 2026 will be considered from September 2026. September 2026 is therefore also the start of the term of the seat sponsorship. The content of the nomination will be checked and we reserve the right to cancel the purchase.
