Start of the renovation of the Theater an der Wien
Almost 60 million euros for the general renovation and modernisation: the reopening is planned for autumn 2024.
Change of artistic director
At the beginning of the 2022/23 season, the Norwegian opera director Stefan Herheim will take over as artistic director of the Theater an der Wien.
